• 2nd place, Michigan Class A State Cross Country Championships, 1996
• Michigan High School Scholar-Athlete Award for Cross Country, 1996-1997
• Only John Glenn recipient, for any sport, since the award started in 1989.
• Conference Champion, 3200m, Western Lakes Athletic Association Conference. 1996
• First 9 th grade student ever, in any sport, to earn a Varsity Letter at John Glenn.
• Earned 8 varsity letters total, for cross country and track, between 1993-1997.
• Currently still holds John Glenn school record in 3200m and 5000m
• Division 1 NCAA Varsity letter in Cross Country at United States Military Academy, 1997
• 1 st place in 2011 Bataan Death March Memorial Marathon team “heavy” division (35lb rucksack, wearing
• full camouflage uniform and combat boots, 26.2 miles in mountains of New Mexico); 2 nd place in 2010
• and 3 rd place in 2018 for the individual “heavy” division.
• Gold German Armed Forces Fitness Badge, 2017 (requires running, ruck marching, swimming in combat
• gear, and pistol shooting)
• Currently serving as an active duty Army Nurse Corps Major, attending the military’s medical school, the
• Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences, earning a Family Nurse Practitioner doctorat.
